• Mrs. Helen J. Harder, 83, widow of H. H. Harder, died July 2 at the Peabody Memorial Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 1970. The former Helen Richert, she was born at Newton and lived here most of her life. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church where the funeral was conducted Friday afternoon with Dr. Albert Epp, the pastor, officiating. Surviving are two sons, Albert C. of Topeka and Ernest H. of Wichita; one daughter, Mrs. Herman Voth of Whitewater; one brother, John C. Richert of Santa Monica, Calif.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
