He was the oldest son of Sam E. and Katie (Miller) Schrock. He accepted the Lord as his Savior at an early age and was baptized as a member of the Yoder Mennonite Church.

They moved to Wisconsin in May 1946 at the request of the North Central Conference (MC), and he became pastor of South Lawrence Mennonite Church, which was organized that fall. He was pastor of South Lawrence for 32 years and milked cows for a living. His delight was in the law of the Lord, whom he served with love and dedication.

He is survived by his wife, Esther; four children, Elwood Glen and his wife Lorene Stichter of Exeland, Wis., Arland Eugene and his wife Esther Estep of Baker, W.
