• David D. Schmidt, 85, retired farmer of Moundridge, died Sunday at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. The funeral was conducted Tuesday forenoon at the Lone Tree Mennonite Church north of Moundridge with Rev. Herman Nightengale and Rev. Orville Koehn officiating. Orman Koehn of Newton is among 12 surviving children.
