text of obituary:

Richard Dale Unrau.

Richard Dale Unrau, son of Frieda (Rempel) and Clarence Unrau, was born on March 15, in Salem Hospital of Hillsboro, Kansas, and died October 14, 1935, in Wesley Hospital at Wichita at the age of seven months, less one day. Richard was a happy child and had a smile for everyone and made friends with everybody. He was the sunshine of our home and never had a sick day until on Thursday of last week when he suddenly became very ill.

His case was hard to diagnose and we thought he showed much improvement on Sunday morning. Then on Sunday evening we noticed he was again suffering more intensely. We took him to Wesley Hospital where several doctors were called in because his ailment seemed to be internal.

They wanted to operate on him as soon as they could build up his strength. But God had different thoughts. he took the soul into His safekeeping where he would dwell with him eternally and with many others that have gone before. The real cause of his death was found to be telescoping of the intestines

He leaves to mourn his bereaved parents, grandparents, great grandparents, uncles and aunts and many relatives and friends.
