SON OF REV.B. B. JANZ AND COMPANION KILLED IN HIGHWAY CRASH

Coaldale, Alberta. — Double funeral services were held at the Coaldale Mennonite Brethren Church on March 8 for Peter Janz, 50, and Norman Wiebe, 23, who were killed March 2 when their car went out of control and struck a steel post at Taber.

Mr. Janz was the son of Rev. B. B. Janz, well-known minister and immigration leader, known by many as the "Moses of the Mennonites" for his part in the Mennonite migration from Russia to Canada in the 1920's.

The Wiebe youth was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wiebe.
