MRS. JOHN P. EDIGER

Agnes Ediger was born on June 8, 1888 at Inman, Kan., where she received her schooling. Early in life she realized her need to accept Christ as her personal Saviour. She was baptized by Rev. Cornelius M. Wall on Sept. 9, 1908, and remained a faithful member of the EMB church at Meade, Kan.

On Dec. 22, 1909 she was married to John P. Ediger at Inman, Kan. Later they moved to Meade where they lived on a farm. Eight children were born to this union. One son, Abe, preceded her in death.

In 1949 mother and father retired from farming and built a new home near the church. The last four years they made their home at the Lone Tree Lodge Rest Home.

Mother was admitted to the hospital on March 22, where she died on April 2, 1974, reaching the age of 85.

Awaiting our reunion are her bereaved husband; the children, John and Martha Ediger and Henry and Clarinda Ediger of Meade, Martin and Sara Ediger of Fresno, Calif., Marie and John Rempel of Hutchinson, Kan., Elizabeth and Elmer Wiens, Benny and Helen Ediger, Frank and Rosella Ediger, all of Meade; one brother, George K. Neufeld, Meade; three sisters, Mrs. I. B. Regier of Meade, Mrs. Lizzie Hiebert of Goessel and Mrs. Susie Friesen of Wichita; 23 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. — The Family.
