— Mrs. P. J. Duerksen, 50, died Saturday, May 2, after a long illness, at the Bethesda hospital in Goessel. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church, conducted by Rev. P. H. Unruh. Mrs. Duerksen is survived by her husband, her mother, a sister, Mrs. A. U. Reimer; and two brothers, Ben Schmidt of Goessel and Frank Schmidt of Newton.
