● Hannah (Dick) Beverforden, 90, of Newton, died Oct. 30 at Newton Medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 2 at new Creation Fellowship, Newton, with Verney Unruh officiating. She was a homemaker, moving from Kansas City to Newton about five years ago. Survivors include two sons, Robert of Wyomissing Hills, Pa., and Donald of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, William "Bill" Dick of Newton; one sister, Ruth Peters of North Newton; and one grandchild. her husband, Walter J., died in 1975.
