DAVID SIEMENS


David Siemens died Oct. 16, 2005 at age 94. He was born Mar. 24, 1911 to David and Katherine Siemens in Nikopol, Russia. The family immigrated to Canada in 1926. David accepted the Lord and was baptized Aug. 29, 1950, joining Matsqui (B.C.) MB Church. He married Elizabeth Kornelson Nov. 15, 1947. David was no stranger to hard work and spent many tireless hours on his dairy farm. After moving off the farm, he worked at Clearbrook Frozen Foods until retirement. He was a devoted husband and loving father. David loved travelling, reading, fishing, hunting, and building things for his grandchildren. Of most importance to him was reading the Bible and spending time with his Lord and Saviour. He was a man of integrity and grace. Predeceased by Elizabeth; 4 brothers; 1 sister; he is mourned by daughter Sandra Krause; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother. The funeral was Oct. 26, 2005 at South Abbotsford (B.C.) MB Church.
