HENRY VOTH

Henry Voth died May 5. He was born Oct. 10, 1913 to Johann and Sarah Voth in Herbert, Sask. He attended Normal school and became a teacher. He was baptized. He married Linda Redekopp Aug. 2, 1936. He graduated from Herbert Bible School in 1945 and MB Bible College, Winnipeg in 1955. He taught in secular and Christian schools and colleges. He was involved with MB conferences. He retired in 1974 and moved to Abbotsford in 1984, joining Clearbrook MB Church where he served in various capacities. His heart was in the church. He was dedicated to learning and the pursuit of excellence. Predeceased by daughter Carol in 1968, he is mourned by Linda; sons Vernon of Albuquerque, N.M., Gordon of Vernon, B.C.; daughter Myma Goertzen of White Rock, B.C.; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 1 sister.
