KATHARINA (TINA) KROEKER

Katharina (Tina) Kroeker died Jan.6. She was born Dec. 17, 1908 to Franz F. and Helena Hubert in Tiegerweide, Siberia. She accepted the Lord after evangelistic meetings with Daniel Braun and Johann Hiebert. The family moved to Canada in 1927, settling in Coaldale, Alta. She worked on the family farm and in Lethbridge (Alta.) Hospital. She attended Coaldale Bible School and joined Coaldale MB Church. She married John Kroeker June 11,1933. They moved to Greendale, B.C. in April 1943 and joined Greendale MB Church. John died in 1973. She enjoyed reading, needlework playing piano, and quilting for MCC and Red Cross. She was interested in world affairs and cherished family and friends. Predeceased by John, she is mourned by daughters Esther Guenther and Elsie Dyck of Chilliwack, B.C.; son John of Terrace, B.C.; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
