• Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Morning Star Mennonite Church near Durham for Sharolyn [sic Sharrolyn] Kay Koehn, 29, who died Sept. 25 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. The services were conducted by Rev. Claude Unruh and Rev. Ransom Wiebe. Miss Koehn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete E. Koehn of rural Canton, was salutatorian of her graduating class at Canton High School. Since then she had worked as a nurses aid at Bethel Deaconess Hospital here and at the McPherson Hospital. However, she had not been able to work in recent years due to failing health. Surviving in addition to her parents are four sisters and three brothers, of whom three sisters and a brother are still at home, and her maternal grandfather, Jacob Wedel of Canton.
