MRS. ALVIN C. ALDERFER

Mrs. Mary L. Alderfer, widow of the late Alvin C. Alderfer, passed away quietly at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Willis A. Moyer, at Harleysville, Pa. on March 17, at the age of 82 years and one month.

She was united in marriage to Alvin C. Alderfer on Oct. 25, 1890, living in Harleysville all her life. Mr. Alderfer was founder and secretary of Harleysville Mutual Casualty Company.

Mother was baptized and admitted as a member of Eden Mennonite church at Schwenksville, Pa. on July 11, 1897, by Rev. W. S. Gottshall, of which church she remained a life-long member.

She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Mrs. Bertha Clemens, Mrs. Verna Bergey and Mrs. Mary Ellen Moyer, all of Harleysville, Mrs. Sadie Ziegler of Norristown and Mrs. Alma Wood of Philadelphia; two sisters and three brothers, 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Eden church on March 22 with Rev. Freeman Swartz officiating. Interment was made in Salford cemetery. — The Family.
