ELLIS AESCHLIMAN

Ellis D., son of Ben and Mary (Conrad) Aeschliman, was born near Archbold, Ohio on March 14, 1932, and died suddenly of a heart attack at the Archbold Grain company on April 14, 1952, at the age of 20 years and one month.

He leaves to mourn his sudden departure his grief stricken parents, three sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Amos Schmucker) of Albany, Oregon, Martha (Mrs. Ezra Schmucker) of Tangent, Oregon, Maxine of the home; three brothers, Elton of Archbold, Ora of Fayette, Ohio, and Waldo at home; three nieces and nephews; his aged grandmother, Fannie Aeschliman of Wauseon, besides a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Lorene, who died at the age of four months.

In 1945 he united with the Clinton Mennonite church and remained a faithful member to the end. In 1950 he graduated from the Pettisville high school.

Ellis had a friendly disposition, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be sadly missed, especially in the home and by his many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Clinton church on April 17, 1952, Rev. Jesse Short, Rev. Dan Sommer and Rev. Olen Nofziger officiating. Text Ecclesiastes 12:1, “Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth."
