text of obituary:

MRS. JUSTINA NEUFELD

(Mrs.) Justina Neufeld was born on December 27, 1905 in Winkler, Manitoba to Henry and Helena Enns. She experienced Christ at a very early age in her life and in her early youth became a member of the Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church. On March 3, 1928 she married John J. Neufeld. The Lord blessed them with two daughters and two sons.

Following their marriage they moved to Whitewater, Manitoba where they managed a general store and served their community many long hours. During this time they fellowshipped at the Boissevain Mennonite Brethren Church. In 1952 they moved to Winnipeg and joined the then South-End Church. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Central Church. She desired only to have the basic necessities for herself so that the rest of her time and money could be directed to the needs of those less fortunate than herself. She loved her Lord and had a faith that in recent years was nurtured through religious broadcasts, Bible reading and prayer.

On January 18, 1978 she suffered a heart attack, and passed away suddenly the following day at the age of 73. She was spared suffering and passed into the presence of God with a peaceful smile on her face.

She leaves to mourn her beloved husband, John Jacob; four children and their families: Viola and Herb Kasper, Swan River, Man.; John and Anne Neufeld, Ruth and Ferdinand Pauls, Vic and Grace Neufeld, all of Winnipeg, Man.; ten grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; and many friends.
