Kidron, Ohio. — Funeral services for Alvin A. Hostetler, 79, who lost his life in a car collision Oct. 3, were held at the Oak Grove Mennonite church on Oct. 6. Rev. Virgil Gerig officiated.

Mr. Hostetler, who was president of the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Smithville, was en route home from Sugar Creek when his car collided at an intersection with one driven by Caleb Gerber, 22, of Orrville. He died four hours later at Wooster Community hospital.

Surviving are his wife, three sons and three daughters, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

PRESIDENT OF OHIO BANK FATALLY INJURED WHEN CARS COLLIDE

Kidron, Ohio. — Funeral services for Alvin A. Hostetler, 79, who lost his life in a car collision Oct. 3, were held at the Oak Grove Mennonite church on Oct. 6. Rev. Virgil Gerig officiated.
