SUFFERS FATAL HEART ATTACK AT SCENE OF NEAR TRAGEDY
Archbold, Ohio. — Attracted to the scene of a near tragedy at the LaChoy Food Products plant here by the cries of 13-year-old David Dominique, Mrs. Lillie Yedica, 63, suffered a heart attack and died almost instantly.
Mrs. Dale Nofziger and son Lynn and their Sunday guest, Mrs. Yedica, went to try to aid David, who was trapped in a burning storage shed. He was hunting rabbits, and it is believed he set the shed on fire while trying to smoke a rabbit out of the building. He was later rescued.
Funeral services for Mrs. Yedica were conducted at the Central Mennonite Church on Oct. 31.
