Orrville, O. &#8212; Simon C. Smucker,a native of this community and a well-known retired farmer, died at Dunlap Memorial Hospital on Feb. 4 at the age of 88. 
 
He was born near here Sept. 25, 1873, and spent most of his life on a farm near Orrville which is now the West Hill Allotment in the city of Orrville.  He was a longtime member of the Smithville Mennonite Church.   
 
Surviving in the immediate family are nine sons, one daughter, 34 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Retired Farmer Dies At Orrville, Ohio

Orrville, O. — Simon C. Smucker,a native of this community and a well-known retired farmer, died at Dunlap Memorial Hospital on Feb. 4 at the age of 88.

He was born near here Sept. 25, 1873, and spent most of his life on a farm near Orrville which is now the West Hill Allotment in the city of Orrville. He was a longtime member of the Smithville Mennonite Church.

Surviving in the immediate family are nine sons, one daughter, 34 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
