Berne, Ind. — Leon Von Gunten, 76, a well known resident of this community, was recently called away in death. Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite Church.
Mr. Von Gunten operated a blacksmith here for many years. Later he was custodian of the Berne-French school.
His wife, a son, and two daughters survive.
