Corn, Okla. &#8212; Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren Church here Friday, Dec. 1, for H. J. Warkentin, an early pioneer of this community, who died Nov. 28 in the Clinton hospital.   
His death came just one day short of his and Mrs. Warkentin's 55th wedding anniversary, which was Nov. 29.   
Aged 81, Mr. Warkentin saw this locality develop from a frontier community to the prosperous settlement it is today.

OKLAHOMA PIONEER CALLED AWAY

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren Church here Friday, Dec. 1, for H. J. Warkentin, an early pioneer of this community, who died Nov. 28 in the Clinton hospital.

His death came just one day short of his and Mrs. Warkentin's 55th wedding anniversary, which was Nov. 29.

Aged 81, Mr. Warkentin saw this locality develop from a frontier community to the prosperous settlement it is today.
