— Albert Schmidt, 68, lifelong resident of the Goessel community, died early Saturday, Nov. 11 several hours after being admitted to the Bethesda hospital. He had been in poor health but his death was unexpected. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church with Rev. James Waltner in charge. Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Lehman; one son Hartzel Schmidt of North Newton; two daughters, Arlene of Wichita and Mrs. Robert Gray of Newton; three sisters and four grandchildren. | |||
