— Mrs. Mary Kroeker, 74, a native of the Goessel community and widow of Jacob Kroeker, died unexpectedly at the home on West First Street Monday morning. Funeral services are to be held at the Newton Bible church Thursday afternoon, Rev. James F. Conway officiating, followed by burial at the Tabor Church cemetery north of Newton. Among the six surviving children is a son, Waldo H. of Newton.
