— Funeral services for Miss Helen Bestvater, 82, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Miller Funeral Home in Goessel, with Rev. Charles Burchardt and Rev. J. E. Entz officiating. Miss Bestvater died Friday, Oct. 20, at the Bethesda Home in Goessel where she had resided since Sept. 15. Formerly she lived on Route 1, Newton. She was a native of South Russia and came to the United States in 1893 with her parents, who settled in Highland Township. Surviving are three brothers, Abe Bestvater of Route 2, Canton, and Henry and John Bestvater of Route 1, Newton. | |||
