Services for Retired Farmer at Wellman, Ia.
Wellman, Iowa. — Funeral services were held here Sept. 29 for S. W. Burkholder, 75, retired farmer of Daytonville who farmed in the Wellman-Kalona area for nearly 50 years. He died at his home on Sept. 26.
A native of Harrisonburg, Va., he was married to Amelia Miller on Dec. 19, 1909 in La Junta, Colo.
Survivors include the widow, one daughter, four sons, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
