Hillsboro, Kans. — Rev. J. J. Gerbrandt, business manager of the M. B. Publishing House here, was called to Reedley, Calif. recently due to the death of his father, Jacob D. Gerbrandt, 82. Funeral services were held at the Reedley M. B. church on June 2.

The aged Mr. Gerbrandt was born in South Russia on July 11, 1871, and came to this country with his parents. He and his wife observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1944. Mrs. Gerbrandt has since passed away, but all of their 12 children survive.

PIONEER DIED AT REEDLEY HOME

Hillsboro, Kans. — Rev. J. J. Gerbrandt, business manager of the M. B. Publishing House here, was called to Reedley, Calif. recently due to the death of his father, Jacob D. Gerbrandt, 82. Funeral services were held at the Reedley M. B. church on June 2.

The aged Mr. Gerbrandt was born in South Russia on July 11, 1871, and came to this country with his parents. He and his wife observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1944. Mrs. Gerbrandt has since passed away, but all of their 12 children survive.
