Steinbach, Man. &#8212; Relatives here received word that the body of Bernhard Funk, 33, a native of Steinbach, was found June 22 in Great Slave Lake in Northwest Territories where he was employed as a diamond driller in a large gold mine. It is believed he had drowned about three days earlier.

FATHER OF THREE DROWNS IN LAKE IN N. W. TERRITORIES

Steinbach, Man. — Relatives here received word that the body of Bernhard Funk, 33, a native of Steinbach, was found June 22 in Great Slave Lake in Northwest Territories where he was employed as a diamond driller in a large gold mine. It is believed he had drowned about three days earlier.

Survivors include his wife and three children; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Funk of Steinbach; five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held at Yellowkinfe, N. W. T.
