— The Christmas Day car crash southeast of Buhler claimed its third victim — all members of a McPherson family — with the death of Jacob T. Doerksen, 82, early Tuesdy [''sic''] in a Hutchinson hospital. Mr. Doerksen's two sisters, Gertrude and Tina Doerksen, 70 and 68 years of age, died in the wreckage of their car. Three Buhler youths in the other car escaped with comparatively minor injuries. Double funeral services for the sisters were held Dec. 28 in the Church of the Brethren at McPherson. Services for their brother are scheduled for Thursday afternoon at the same church. The Doerksens had attended a Christmas gathering at the J. W. Kroeker home, Buhler. | |||
