<center><h3>SOUTHERN MANITOBA PIONEER CALLED BY DEATH AT AGE 92</h3></center>
Winkler, Man. — Funeral services for Isaac R. Loewen, 92 year old southern Manitoba pioneer, were held at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite at Rosenort, on April 23. He died at the Bethania home for aged, Kildonan.
One of the few remaining pioneers who came to Canada from Russia in 1874, Mr. Loewen worked as a carpenter and blacksmith, operated a dairy farm, and at one time owned a sash and door factory in Winkler.
