STRICKEN IN CORN FIELD

West Liberty, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at Oak Grove church here Thursday, Oct. 27, for Ervin D. Yoder, who became fatally ill while out in the corn field, where his son Albert was picking corn.

Mr. Yoder, a 77-year-old retired farmer, had not been in good health for some time.

An ambulance was called but Mr. Yoder had already passed away when he arrived at Mary Rutan Hospital.

The funeral services were in charge of Rev. Nelson Kanagy and Rev.. Abr. Kauffman, the latter of Plain city.
