MRS. NETTE QUIRING

Nette Quiring was born on May 26, 1928 to Rev. and Mrs. N. H. Pauls at Glenbush, Sask. She passed away at Calgary, Alberta, on May 14.

She received Christ as her personal Saviour in her childhood and was baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren church in her youth. She received her early education in Glenbush and later attended the Winkler Bible Institute and the Mennonite Brethren Bible College. She then trained at the Grace Hospital School of Nursing in Winnipeg.

She was married to Alfred Quiring on August 30, 1958 at Kelowna, B.C. She served the Lord gladly in singing and Sunday school teaching, and desired to share her faith with others.

The many months of confinement and intense suffering gave her many opportunities to witness to her faith. Funeral services were held at the Highland Mennonite Brethren Church, Calgary, with Rev. C. Bayley, a friend of the family, in charge.

She is survived by her husband Alfred, three children, Jackie, Charlene and Andrew, her parents of Clearbrook, B.C., and five sisters and four brothers and their families.
