<center><h3>SERVICES HELD FOR RETIRED FARMERS OF HOLMES COUNTY</h3></center>       
 
Sugarcreek, Ohio. &#8212; Two retired Holmes county farmers died as a result of a car-truck collision Sunday morning, Aug. 21, on U. S. highway 62, two miles east of Winesburg.     
 
Abner J. Swartzentruber, 67, of Rt. 1, Dundee, was killed in the accident and Harry B. Miller, 66, of Millersburg, died the following Wednesday of injuries.     
 
Recovering from injuries suffered in the mishap were Miller's wife, Clara, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Weaver of Rt. 4, Millersburg, and Martha Yoder, a neighbor of the Millers.     
 
The accident occurred when the Swartzentruber car crashed into the rear of a truck proceeding slowly up a hill.     
 
Funeral services for Mr. Swartzentruber were held Aug. 24 at the Pleasant View Mennonite church Rev. LeRoy Schlabach officiating.  He was a member of the Conservative Amish church.     
 
The funeral of Mr. Miller, a member of the Amish church, took place Aug. 26 at the home, with Bishop Joseph P. Miller officiating.

Two Die in Ohio Car-Truck Crash

SERVICES HELD FOR RETIRED FARMERS OF HOLMES COUNTY

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Two retired Holmes county farmers died as a result of a car-truck collision Sunday morning, Aug. 21, on U. S. highway 62, two miles east of Winesburg.

Abner J. Swartzentruber, 67, of Rt. 1, Dundee, was killed in the accident and Harry B. Miller, 66, of Millersburg, died the following Wednesday of injuries.
