FRANK J. THIESSEN
Frank J . Thiessen passed away June 23 a age 78. Pastor Don Balzer, Rev . J. J. Stobbe and Rev . D. Nickel officiated at the funeral June 27, in the South Abbotsford iB .C. Mennonite Brethren Church. He was born in Isobell, Oklahoma on May 18, 1897. He was baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church at Laird, Sask On July 11 , 1922 he married Helena Epp. He was a builder by trade, and lived in California for 30 years . During the last eight years he resided in Clearbrook and attended the Sout h Abbotsford Church. During his younger years he was active as a Sunday school teacher and choir director. He is survived by his wife Heiena, his son Bill of Bellingham , Wash ., and his daughter Violet Thiessen of San J ose , Calif.
