A son of pioneer settlers here, he was a well-known farmer, had been an elevator manager and later postmaster at Clinton, and was active in church and school work. Death came Jan. 15 at Sentinel hospital after a long illness.

Peter F. Harder, a native of Russia and resident of this community since 1897, died at the Weatherford nursing home Jan.16. Death was due to complications resulting from a broken hip. Funeral services were held at the Corn M. B. church Jan. 20.

Death Calls Two Long-Time Residents

Corn, Okla. — Two long-time residents of this community, both members of the Corn Mennonite Brethren church, were called away in death recently.

Funeral services for J. L. Reimer, 61, were held at the church Sunday, Jan. 17. A son of pioneer settlers here, he was a well-known farmer, had been an elevator manager and later postmaster at Clinton, and was active in church and school work. Death came Jan. 15 at Sentinel hospital after a long illness.
