Archbold, Ohio. &#8212; Samuel S. Short, 74, a retired farmer, died at the farm home northwest of here Dec. 20.  He had lived on the same farm throughout his life.   
He was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite church, where the funeral services were conducted Dec. 23 by Rev. H. E. Bertsche.   
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters and one son, all of Archbold; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Peter J. Stuckey of Archbold.

ARCHBOLD RETIRED FARMER DIES

Archbold, Ohio. — Samuel S. Short, 74, a retired farmer, died at the farm home northwest of here Dec. 20. He had lived on the same farm throughout his life.

He was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite church, where the funeral services were conducted Dec. 23 by Rev. H. E. Bertsche.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters and one son, all of Archbold; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Peter J. Stuckey of Archbold.
