Metamora, Ill. &#8212; John G. Weaver, 91, a long-time resident of this vicinity, died Oct. 9 at the Mennonite home for aged in Eureka, where he had resided for five years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 11, at the Metamora Mennonite church.

A native of Holmes county, Ohio, Mr. Weaver was married here to Lena E. Garber on Sept. 24, 1893. She passed away in 1910. He engaged in farming until 1923, after which he served as custodian of the Metamora church for 13 years.

Survivors include one son, four daughters, 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Resident of Eureka, Ill. Home Dies

Metamora, Ill. — John G. Weaver, 91, a long-time resident of this vicinity, died Oct. 9 at the Mennonite home for aged in Eureka, where he had resided for five years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 11, at the Metamora Mennonite church.

A native of Holmes county, Ohio, Mr. Weaver was married here to Lena E. Garber on Sept. 24, 1893. She passed away in 1910. He engaged in farming until 1923, after which he served as custodian of the Metamora church for 13 years.

Survivors include one son, four daughters, 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
