TEXAS QUINTUPLETS FAIL TO SURVIVE

Quintuplet daughters born early last week at Lackland Air Force Base Hospital, San Antonio, Texas, to Lt. and Mrs. Charles G. Hannan failed to survive and were buried thee days later in a cemetery at the small town of Taylor, Texas.

Each of the five tiny girls, who weighed an average of 1.8 pounds, lived less than a day. Separate graves were made for the doll-size white caskets.

Names given the five were Deborah Lynn, Janet Lee, Karen Denise, Melissa Jane and Suzanne Kay.
