Metamora, Ill. Retired Farmer Dies

Metamora, Ill. — Edwin R. Schertz, 78, well-known retired farmer here, died at Methodist hospital in Peoria on Aug. 11.

Funeral services were arranged for Friday, Aug. 14, at the Metamora Mennonite church, of which he was a long-time member. A lifelong resident of this area, he had lived in Metamora for the past 10 years.
