DIES FROM EFFECTS OF FRACTURED HIP
Orrville, Ohio. — Mrs. Malinda Smucker, one of the oldest residents of the Smithville community, died at her home there April 22 at the age of 94. Death was due to complications arising from a fractured hip, suffered in a fall about three weeks earlier.
Mrs. Smucker was born in Wayne County in 1864 and spent all of her life in the Smithville area. Her husband, Milo Smucker, died 15 years ago.
Funeral services were arranged for April 25 at the Smithville Mennonite Church.
