DEATH CLAIMS TWO OF ORIGINAL IMMIGRANTS IN NEBRASKA COMMUNITY

Henderson, Neb. — Death last week removed two of the pioneers who were members of the original immigrant group from Russia to settle in this community in 1874. Only two of this group now survive.

Diedrich Schierling, 85, retired farmer, died at his home here April 6. On April 8 Mrs. Peter P. Epp died at her home at the age of 95. She had been critically ill one week.

Funeral services for both were conducted at the E. M. B. church, Rev. Frank Thomas officiating.
