SUSIE WALL

1888 in Russia to Peter E. and Katherina Bergen. In 1891 she came with her parents to the United States, and in 1906 the family moved to Canada, settling in the Rush Lake district, Saskatchewan . On October 18, 1908, she was married to John G. Wall, and two years later both were baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church at Main Centre. They resided on -their Main Center homestead from the time of their marriage until 1926 and then in McMahon, Sask. where they farmed and operated an implement business for 21 years . In 1947 the Walls moved to B.C. for nine years; they returned to Saskatchewan and lived in Swift Current until the time of death. She passed away on August 26. Mrs. Wall is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Selma Rempel of Swift Current; two sons, Ted of Swift Current and Ferd of Burnaby, B.C.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Wall, in 1962. The funeral was held in the Swift Current Mennonite Brethren Church September 1 with Pastor Nikkel officiating.
