— Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church for Miss Mary Schmidt, 74, who died suddenly at her home in the Goessel community Saturday morning, Feb. 14. Rev. P. A. Wedel, the pastor, officiated. Miss Schmidt was a lifelong resident of Marion County. She leaves two brothers, John of the home on Route 2, Hillsboro, and Karl of the same vicinity; and four sisters, Mrs. P. P. Schroeder and Mrs. Abraham Schmidt, both of Newton, Mrs. B. W. Schmidt of Route 2, Newton, and Mrs. H. I. Goertz of Hillsboro. | |||
