Monday afternoon for their son-in0law, DeVere Uhler, 47, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home there Friday morning, Jan. 16.  the services were held at the Elim Lutheran Church, of which he was an active member and were largely attended.  Mr. Uhler's wife, the former Lillian Gaeddert, prece3ded him in death Oct. 7, 1941.  He was assistant postmaster at Marquette.  Burial was made in the Marquette cemetery.
