Kitchener, Ontario. — Caleb S. Shelly, 89, the oldest member of the Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, Kitchener, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 22. He had been a resident of the Kitchener-Waterloo area all his life. | |||
Mr. Shelly was born at Freeport, Ontario and farmed in that area until his retirement thirty years ago. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. David Shelly. | |||
The minister of the congregation, Rev. Wilfred Ulrich, had charge of the funeral service on Friday, Oct. 24, assisted by Rev. U. K. Weber, a former minister of the church and personal friends of the late Mr. Shelly. | |||

OLDEST MEMBER OF KITCHENER CHURCH DIES AT AGE 89
Kitchener, Ontario. — Caleb S. Shelly, 89, the oldest member of the Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, Kitchener, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 22. He had been a resident of the Kitchener-Waterloo area all his life.
