New Holland, Pa. — Death came without warning for little Barbara Ann Reihl, 7, who was instantly killed as she a highway near her home in the Morgantown community.

She had been helping with preparations for a birthday party at the home of a neighbor. Her mother, Mrs. Amos Riehl, was talking to her across the highway when the girl unexpectedly started for the other side and was hit.
