Goshen, Ind.  &#8212;  Mrs. Katie Miller, one of the oldest residents of the Lagrange County Amish settlements, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Daniel C. Beachy, on Sept. 25 at the age of 93.  Funeral services were held at the Beachy home, which is near Honeyville.
A lifetime resident of Lagrange County, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of  John E. Bontragers.  Her grandparents were the first Amish to settle in Lagrange County in 1843. 
She is survived by three daughters, five sons and a number of grandchildren.

Great-Grandmother Dies at Age 93

Goshen, Ind. — Mrs. Katie Miller, one of the oldest residents of the Lagrange County Amish settlements, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Daniel C. Beachy, on Sept. 25 at the age of 93. Funeral services were held at the Beachy home, which is near Honeyville.

A lifetime resident of Lagrange County, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of John E. Bontragers. Her grandparents were the first Amish to settle in Lagrange County in 1843.

She is survived by three daughters, five sons and a number of grandchildren.
