Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Jacob P. Schwartz, well-known Amish farmer who died here Jan. 26 following a stroke, were widely attended. Friends and relatives came from other Indiana communities and from out of the state, and services were held in three different houses.
A native of this community, Bro. Schwartz was married in 1901 to Emily Graber, who survives with 12 children, 103 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

WELL-KNOWN AMISH FARMER DIED

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Jacob P. Schwartz, well-known Amish farmer who died here Jan. 26 following a stroke, were widely attended. Friends and relatives came from other Indiana communities and from out of the state, and services were held in three different houses.
