Injury Proves Fatal To Aged Mother

Belleville, Pa. — Mrs. Sadie Spicher, 77, wife of David Spicher, died in a Danville hospital Aug. 29 about a week after suffering a fractured hip in a fall at her home.

The former Sadie Peachey, she was a native of this community and a well known member of the Amish church. A son, Jesse D. Spicher, is a bishop in the church here. Also surviving are two other sons, five daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral services were conducted at the Jesse Spicher home and were widely attended.
