NATIVE OF INDIANA KILLED IN BRITISH COLUMBIA ACCIDENT

Goshen, Ind. — Welcome M. Detweiler, who was born in Goshen April 21, 1891, but left to reside in Canada at the age of 21, was killed in an accident at Abbotsford, British Columbia, according to a message received by relatives here.

He suffered fatal injuries in a dynamite explosion while blasting stumps.

Mr. and Mrs. Detweiler and son Leonard had visited here during July. Four brothers who reside in this vicinity attended the funeral services at Abbotsford.
