A heart attack Friday morning, July 4, proved fatal to Ernest M. Zuercher, 74, at his farm home near Whitewater.  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Swiss Mennonite church, Rev. Ted Roth and Rev. H. J. Dyck being the officiating ministers.  Having lived at Whitewater all his life, Mr. Zuercher was married Oct. 3, 1907 to Mary E. Rutschman of that community, who now survives him.  Also surviving are three sons, Lawrence of Weatherford, Tex., Victor of Whitewater, Dennis of Hutchinson, and one daughter, Mrs. Edna B. Stangle of Hutchinson.
