90-YEAR-OLD RUSSIA NATIVE DIES IN WESTERN KANSAS

Oakley, Kan. — Peter D. Friesen, who was born in South Russia on Nov. 12, 1867, died here June 26 at the age of 90. A former resident of the Inman community, he had lived here for 35 years.

The body was sent to Buhler, Kansas, where funeral services were conducted at the Buhler Mennonite Brethren church on Saturday. Five sons and two daughters are among the survivors.
